Welcome to Greenbrier Valley Pride

Greenbrier Valley Pride is a group of people dedicated to inclusivity and the celebration of the LGBTQ+ community throughout the region. As member of the LGBTQ+ community and allies, the Greenbrier Valley Pride board and members strive to create a close-knit community. We are a collection of people deeply connected to the Greenbrier Valley area and want to see a place where LGBTQIA+ people can feel safe and included.

Part of how the organization will work toward its goal is through meetups and events throughout the Greenbrier Valley. Join us for days on the river or regular public members meetings to network and build a community while enjoying the beauty and wander of the Greenbrier Valley.

"Greenbrier Valley Pride means so much to me, especially having been raised in the area. In just 29 days we cultivated an experience that brought together LGBTQIA+ folks and allies- we made history,” Kelsie Tyson, the president of the GVP board, says. “I look forward to continuing working with GVP as we establish ourselves as a non-profit and remain dedicated to fostering a community and family for queer folks throughout the Greenbrier Valley Region."
