Marble Dyeing: Painting Pride With 365 Art

On May 21st, 365 Art introduced Lewisburg to the world of marble dyeing.
In collaboration with Greenbrier Valley Pride, and local artist Toni Ogden, 365 Art brought Marble Dyeing to the community of Lewisburg, WV. People of all ages came to the event andparticipated in a live demonstration with Toni Ogden. Participants made their own art pieces by splattering patterns onto a liquid medium and dipping the paper into the liquid to keep the design. Participants were also able to make more patterns using metal combs, and wood skewers.
A little over twenty people participated in the event. All pieces made at the event have dried, and can be picked up at 365 Art.
